AGC produces glass for construction (external glazing and indoor decorative glass) and for the automotive industry. AGC Automotive Europe specializes in providing customers with complete solutions in terms of car glazing and related technologies. It includes production and sales of products to vehicle manufacturers (Cars and Trains) in terms of Glazing, Added Value products and components systems; as well as a complete range of service in the aftermarket area from production to distribution and retail.

The Role / Job :

This function report directly to the Industrial Manager.

As Industrialization Engineer, you will be in charge of  2 main missions at the Seneffe plant :

1 : To finalize the detailed design of products in the development phase
2 : To provide production with all the documentary and material resources required for production and control

You will participate and make proposals on all subjects related to the optimization of industrial processes (machine, flows, organization, etc.) which enable the site's performance to be improved

You also will seek standardization or at least compatibility of means, processes, flows, tools and documents. You will work "by deviation" from the standards that you have the possibility and autonomy to improve.

In the development phase, you will be the privileged correspondent of the projects and designers on the feasibility of a product in accordance with the QCD objectives.
In the production phase, you will be the interface with production to ensure that the documents and physical resources made available for each workstation are complete, accurate and consistent with requirements.

You ensure, through your regular presence in production, that what has been defined is respected at each stage.

Requirements :

The candidate will ideally have the following experience and skills:
- Demonstrated experience as a designer, Methodist, process engineer
- Knowledge of CATIAV5. Knowledge of FTA and 3D Composer modules is an asset
- Basic knowledge of lean and/or 6 sigma
- Experience with CNC machines is an asset
- Good command of English and French
