AGC produces glass for construction (external glazing and indoor decorative glass) and for the automotive industry. The Automotive Glass division develops, produces, and commercializes a broad range of products such as windshields, side windows, rear windscreens and panoramic roofs, with advanced features: heated windshields, infrared and UV protection, head-up displays…

AGC Automotive Europe specializes in providing customers with complete solutions in terms of car glazing and related technologies. It includes production and sales of products to vehicle manufacturers (Cars and Trains) in terms of Glazing, Added Value products and components systems; as well as a complete range of service in the aftermarket area from production to distribution and retail.

ARG (Automotive Replacement Glass)  is part of AGC Automotive Division focusing on the automotive aftermarket needs, providing replacement glasses for a wide range of cars. ARG European division produces two brands of glasses (AGC and NordGlass) and sells its products through 3 business lines: wholesale, retail distribution and fitting.

 

To further strengthen our ARG pricing activity, we are looking for a Pricing Analyst.

The Role / Job :

Your responsibilities:

  • Monitor the outputs of the data driven pricing strategies, using the pricing performance dashboards and KPI’s
  • Identify deviations and understand their root causes by performing structural ad-hoc analysis of price lists, costs, profitability & sales records
  • Recommend corrective actions and provide the needed data enabling the Teams (Pricing Experts and Sales) to act on the issue
  • Identify and quantify pricing improvement opportunities across the entire portfolio at product or client level.
  • Collect and analyse relevant internal and external inputs to support the pricing process (including competitor pricing and market intelligence)
  • Ensure the operational maintenance of pricing master data in the system.
  • Support the process of modelling and structuring the pricing strategy through ad-hoc analysis
  • Support the development and refinement of systems and tools for more effective pricing execution.

Requirements :

What we are looking for:

  • Education: Marketing, Finance
  • Min 3 years of experience in an international company (retail sector, preferably automotive sector) in pricing  function, marketing analyst, business controller or similar
  • Excel proficiency
  • Power BI knowledge is a plus
  • English – C level minimum
  • Analytical thinking and skills
  • Can-do, proactive and problem solving attitude
  • Ability to respond effectively with internal customers
