AGC Corporate Internal Audit Europe Office is currently looking for a Internal Auditor who will be based in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) and ready to start immediately.

As an Internal Auditor, your role is to add value and to provide assurance that risk management, governance and internal control processes are designed and operating effectively in AGC Group companies in Europe. In addition, you offer advisory services to raise awareness and strengthen internal controls and risk management.

The Role / Job :

Within the internal audit team, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing annually planned operational, compliance, special purpose audits;
  • Performing the independent assessment of the Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (J-SOX compliance);
  • Assessing the quality of internal controls of the audited organizations;
  • Reporting and communicating the audit results to the Audit Manager and Europe Internal Audit Regional Leader;
  • Presenting audit results to the Management of the audited organizations, gaining acceptance of the audit findings and providing advice on the remediation of the identified issues;
  • Preparing the audit report.

Requirements :

We are looking for a candidate who will be ready to regularly travel across Europe / Middle East & Africa / South America (up to 20%):

  • University degree (preferable economic);
  • 3 to 5 years of work experience in a similar function in a multicultural environment, either as internal (preferably in industrial sector) or external auditor (in one of the Big 4);
  • Experience in remote auditing/working is an advantage;
  • Experience in IT audit is a plus;
  • Excellent English skills (spoken and written);
  • Strong independent character with integrity and high ethical standards;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Analytic thinking and results oriented;
  • Proactive and a team-player;
  • Stress resistant.

Other skills required:

  • Supplementary language (French, Dutch, German or any other European language is a plus);
  • CIA, CISA, CFE or other professional certificate is a plus;
  • Audit management software knowledge is a plus.
