COMPLIANCE SUPPORT

AGC Europe, our vehicle for the EU corporate functions, located in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, is providing services for Architectural and Automotive glass, Biologics, Chemical and Pharmaceutical activities in Europe.

We are looking for a motivated Compliance Support.

The Role / Job :

  • Assist the Compliance Officer to achieve compliance objectives for all European AGC companies and give support to implement annual compliance programs for internal stakeholders;
  • Investigate compliance matters and complaints, under the supervision of the Compliance Officer ;
  • Prepare reports on compliance, statistics and help in communicating compliance results to the auditors;
  • Follow the evolution of the legislation and analyze any impact to update or improve the compliance program and organization;
  • Report directly on new compliance matters and legislative improvements to the Compliance Officer;
  • Help in the organization on various internal compliance and legal trainings; communicate adequately;
  • Give support on GDPR related topics: trainings and communication;
  • UBO register follow-up & updating;
  • Documents management
    • organize & coordinate EU board meetings;
    • follow-up of document signatures, their dispatching & filing;
    • manage the formalities of publications with the Belgian Official Journal.

Requirements :

Qualification :

  • Bachelor degree in legal studies; business administration; economics; marketing; communication or ethics.

Experience & Knowledge

  • Comprehensive work experience of 2-3 years and in the field of compliance / legal / business or communication;
  • Knowledge of legislative process/organization;
  • Knowledge on how to carry out in-depth investigations;
  • Knowledge on functioning of EU institutions and regulatory process;

Skills & Abilities

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills;
  • Good analytical skills;
  • Capability of discretion and diplomacy;
  • Outstanding integrity;
  • Ability to complete work with limited instructions and works in an autonomous way;
  • Attention to details;
  • Ability to write comprehensive reports on complex/sensitive subjects;
  • Collaborative, team player with strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Languages

  • Excellent English (oral and written);
  • Good knowledge of French, and/or Dutch is an asset;
  • Any other language is a plus.
