At AGC Pedragosa, a subsidiary in Spain of AGC Glass Europe, we are looking for a Safety Coordinator for our sites in Spain & France.
You are in charge of the coordination of all safety issues of the Downstream at regional level (France - Spain) in close collaboration with the Divisional Safety Manager and the local safety managers. You create and enforce the desired safety attitudes :
This includes:
- Coordinate safety activities with the local management and the safety managers of France and Spain sites: Processed Glass and Distribution
- Monitor and guarantee that all safety guidelines and legislations are respected
- Analyze occurred incidents and accidents and define, implement and follow-up actions
- Provide adequate quantitative and qualitative feedback based on KPI follow-up & analysis
- Organize and perform safety trainings and stimulate safety awareness
- Steer and monitor Safety procedures and guidelines in area of responsibility (Safety Improvement Plan, standards, ISO...)
- Perform audit or support missions in EU sites
This position will involve regular trips within France, Spain and some trips in EU.
Are you the perfect match ?
You have a higher education qualification (bachelor) with at least 5 years’ experience in an industrial environment.
You have a solid understanding in safety matters or you can show a real interest for safety.
You demonstrate an analytical and synthetic mind and a good ability to listen, but you are also very persuasive.
You are a leader and you have a sense of initiative and the ability to deal with problems quickly and effectively.
Your strong willingness to communicate, your team spirit and pro-activeness will steer safety awareness to a higher level.
You are fluent in French, Spanish and English and familiar with MS office.
