Your mission:
You will be part of the Automotive Functional Solutions team – a small team developing future Automotive products (excluding AVO), mainly for the OEM market. The team relies on three pillars :
- General project management competences
- AGC “core business” technical knowledge (ex: naked glass, enamels, coatings, lamination,…)
- Specific technical skills which evolve with market trends (ex: switchable technologies, solar PV technologies, lighting techniques, ,…)
Responsibilities will include
- Team management (3-5 people)
- Development of new PVD coating(s) on glass for automotive application
- Project management
Specific tasks will include :
- Manage a team of researchers (results follow-up, coaching, new projects generation,…)
- Define new PVD coating(s) for automotive application
- Validate those new PVD coating(s) (ex: durability)
- Make those new PVD coating(s) industrial
- Make those new PVD coating(s) profitable
- Support promotion activities around those new PVD coating(s)
Are you the perfect match ?
Your talents :
- Engineering or PHD degree in one of the following fields: material science, mechanics, electricity, physics, chemistry
- Between 5 to 15 years of experience
- Knowledge of thin coating deposition by PVD
- Able to elaborate, test, and propose new concepts autonomously
- Able to structure and organize a project and a team
- Efficient to communicate in multicultural environments (presentations, reports, discussions, negotiations) and popularize complex concepts/results
- Multi tasker, able to meet deadlines and manage different projects
- Strong logical mind – yet creative and entrepreneurial with an agile spirit
- Hungry for learning and growth
