One of the AGC’s activity is to develop and continuously improve photovoltaics-embedded glass solutions in preparation for the facades of tomorrow. The range of products is divided into transparent and opaque solutions that can be applied to almost any part of the building: facade windows, spandrels, cladding, roofs and other applications.
The SunEwat range is a revolution compared to conventional unattractive photovoltaic panels. The modules comply with nearly zero-energy building requirements, while offering facade designers limitless architectural and aesthetic options as well as seamless integration into buildings. SunEwat solutions are also cost-efficient, featuring record low payback periods.
The job purpose is to manage negotiations and contacts with the customers and the manufacturing plants according to the AGC strategy and in order to reinforce its profitability and position on the market. The Sales Manager reports directly to the Business Manager.
The role includes the following responsibilities:
- Prospect (in collaboration with IBP’s/Pre-Sales and Sales representatives) and determine clients' needs and technical challenges and develop our client portfolio
- Quote the projects, negotiate with the customer according to the strategy in order to obtain the targeted sales and to develop AGC’s objectives of turnover, profitability and market share
- Follow-up offers (coordinate offer submission for accuracy including technical, logistical, economic and quality proposals) and customers (support and advice in all technical and commercial questions).
- Analyze the market, improve and implement the marketing strategy in collaboration with the team manager. Represent AGC in main European BIPV events.
- Represent AGC towards the customer in case of major issues in quality, logistics, development, payment of invoices
- Train the AGC colleagues in contact with customers (mainly IBP team) so that they can help further develop the BIPV within the main AGC customers.
Are you the perfect match ?
- Goal & action oriented with ability to perform analysis, to prepare and submit proposals, to think ahead and participate in decision taking, taking ownership
- Master degree, preferably in Commercial Engineering, Economics, or Engineering with experience in Sales B2B Building Industry (both short-term and long-term customer approach)
- Fluent in French and English. Any additional European language is an asset. Excellent communication, listening, presentation and persuasion skills
- Knowledge of glass business and/or BIPV is a plus
- Willingness to travel frequently within Europe
