AGC Corporate Internal Audit Europe Office is currently looking for a Corporate Internal Auditor who will be based in Louvain-la-Neuve (close to Brussels, Belgium) and reporting to the Europe Head of Internal Audit.
Internal Audit in Europe is one of three regions reporting to the Global Head of Internal Audit in the AGC Tokyo HQ Office.
The European Audit department is currently composed of 8 auditors based in Louvain La Neuve and the Czech Republic.
As an Internal Auditor, your role is to provide assurance that risk management, governance and internal control processes are designed and operating effectively in AGC Group companies in Europe.
In a context of increased cyber security and IT risks, this area will be a special focus in your function.
Function
Within the internal audit team, in the lead or as a member you will be:
- Performing annually planned IT audit missions, operational audits and compliance or special purpose audits;
- Performing the independent assessment of the Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (J-Sox compliance) of which ITGCs (IT General Computer Controls);
- Contributing to IT Risk Assessment and improvement of cyber security posture;
- Offer (IT) advisory services to raise awareness and strengthen internal controls and risk management;
- Assessing the quality of internal controls of the audited organizations;
- Presenting audit results to the Management of the audited organizations, gaining acceptance of the audit findings and providing advice on the remediation of the issues;
- Preparing the audit reports;
- Develop projects for continuous monitoring and auditing.
Are you the perfect match ?
We are looking for a candidate who will be ready to regularly travel, mainly across Europe (20-30%):
- University degree;
- 3 to 5 years of work experience in a multicultural environment, either as internal auditor or external auditor;
- Sound knowledge of IT risk management and IT audit principles;
- Analytic skills and results oriented;
- English skills proficiency (spoken and written);
- Independent but also team player;
- High integrity and high ethical standards;
- Excellent communication skills and able to build relationships with the IT/business community;
- Proactive, flexible and committed.
Other skills required:
- Any supplementary European language on top of English (e.g: French, Dutch, German);
- ISO 27001 certification or any other IT professional certificate is a plus;
- Data analytics skills and coding skills are also a plus.
