Job Purpose

Improve talent management processes across different  business lines and support the managers building their capabilities in managing individuals and teams. Drive the implementation of strategic initiatives in the field of Human Resources Management for Automotive Replacement Glass business in Czech Republic. Provide operational support to the European ARG Business Partner.

 Role & work environment:

The position belongs to the AGC Automotive Replacement Glass Business Unit reporting to the Senior HR BP ARG Europe and being a part of a collaborative HR community. The role is based in Czech Republic and requires presence in the AGC Automotive Replacement Glass factory in Chuderice, Distribution warehouse  and Fitting Office in Teplice. Occasionally the job will require business travels to Belgium (HQ in Louvain-la-Neuve) and other European countries with ARG locations.

Responsibilities:

The HR Manager is accountable for :

  • recruiting , hiring and onboarding of ARG positions based in Czech Republic
  • creating and executing employer branding campaigns and initiatives
  • managing talent development operations (i.e. training, coaching, mentoring) with internal and external services providers
  • preparing data and information for job grading, comp & ben and organizational structure management
  • managing various HR projects related to strategic initiatives
  • contributing to the culture of healthy employee relations, DEI, safety and sustainability  in the Company
  • ensuring the compliance with company policies, values and national regulations.

 Profile:

AGC is looking for a collaborator, with the following profile:

  • Master Degree in HR management, psychology,  sociology or business administration
  • 5 years of experience in HR roles related to talent management
  • Czech native or equivalent command, fluent in English,  other European languages are nice to have
  • Able to:
    • demonstrate a “partnership” attitude toward internal customers 
    • proactively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
    • make presentations and create and  engaging internal communication content
