At our location in Seingbouse (France), we are looking for an IT Plant Support Specialist who will:
- Manage and maintain the operation of the IT infrastructure in accordance with AGC guidelines within a critical manufacturing environment
- Coordinate internal IT projects
- Carry out operations in the area of servers and network connections
- Act as local contact person for IT issues
- Provide hardware and software support to end users based on reported IT issues/requests (around 300 workstations for 3 sites)
- Prepare and provision of new hardware (laptops, PCs, printers, smartphones, etc.)
- Allocation of access rights to users
- Carry out all measures with the aim of restoring or maintaining end user productivity
- Replace old systems with new ones (e.g. switching from Win 10 to Win 11)
- Ensure regular reporting to the ITPS Country Coordinator
Are you the perfect match ?
- Education in computer technology or ICT
- Previous experience in an IT industrial environment (production) is a strong plus
- Knowledge of networking (DNS, DHCP, routing and switching), server and backup technologies and knowledge of video conferencing systems
- Experience with Microsoft products such as Active Directory, Windows 10/11, MS Office and O365
- Knowledge of industrial IT and OT is an advantage
- Good understanding of risk, both technical and related to data content
- Willingness to further training, e.g. learning new techniques and technologies
- Independent way of working
- Organizational talent, flexibility and ability to work under pressure
- Flexibility to travel 1 day per week to other manufacturing AGC sites in Hoerdt (67) and Laneuveville (54) and to ensure passive standby 1 week out of two
- Fluent in French is mandatory with good communication skills in English
