Production manager Cold End in the Float department where thin flat glass is produced. This high-quality glass is used for high-tech applications and Automotive.
- You are responsible for start-up, elaboration, follow-up and validation of process on the cold side of the Float line and this includes cutting, stacking, storage of the glass and quality control
- The Cold End team, which you will eventually manage directly and indirectly, includes 5 shiftleaders, a responsible quality and a production assistant cold glass; indirectly, this team includes about 100 employees
- You are responsible from the start to the securing of each project
- Together with the cold glass team, you analyse which improvement opportunities there are in the various processes
- You manage improvement teams and are responsible for securing the results (training, documentation, KPIs,...)
- You will report to the Float manager and work closely with the Hot End production manager
Are you the perfect match ?
- You have a master's degree in engineering and would like to work in an industrial environment
- You have experience in a similar position and People management skills
- You are strong in data-driven analyses and accurate in your reporting
- You have strong organizational skills and you know how to set priorities
- You like to work in a team towards a common goal and know how to bring out the best in employees
- You are flexible and feel responsible for the correct and timely realization of the projects
- You have good communication skills in Dutch and English, French is a plus
