Join AGC Automotive Europe, a leader in the automotive glass industry. We are dedicated to innovation, quality, and sustainability, and we are looking for a passionate Engineering Project Manager to help us drive our projects to success.

Your Role: As an Engineering Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in our OEM business unit. Reporting to the Manufacturing Strategy and Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Project Management: Oversee the completion of projects related to new equipment or upgrades in our European plants.
  • Planning & Budgeting: Define project timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with the purchasing team to select and manage suppliers, partners, and subcontractors.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Installation & Start-Up: Coordinate the installation and start-up of equipment, ensuring timely handover to plant representatives.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical expertise to integrate new technologies and machines, and support plant members in project definition and prioritization.
  • Maintenance Collaboration: Work with the maintenance team to enhance machine reliability and define maintenance needs for new equipment.
  • Strategic Studies: Lead specific technical studies related to the company’s strategy.

Are you the perfect match ?

  • Educational Background: Engineering degree with at least 5 years of experience in engineering.
  • Skills: Proficient in CAD, planning, gate reviews, financial calculations, and other engineering tools and methods.
  • Budget Management: Ability to manage and maintain project budgets.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.
  • Teamwork: Strong ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Initiative: Autonomous, proactive, and perseverant.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel within Europe.
  • Preferred Experience:

    • Successful experience in project management is a plus.
