The role
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Developer to join our team for leading the development of a new marketplace in the field of the new mobility environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing and materializing business opportunities aligned with AGC Automotive Europe strategy. The Business Developer will work closely with cross-functional teams (R&D, OEM, ARG, MBDO, …) to develop and implement strategies that drive revenue growth.
The Mission
Your mission as Business Developer: identify, develop and materialize business opportunities for new marketplace in the field of the new mobility environment:
- Analyze market trends and define customer pains and needs to provide insights/stimuli that orient business and innovation strategy
- Lead the development team and collaborate with cross-functional teams inside and outside AGC to develop and implement strategies that drive revenue growth
- Coordinate technical developments and marketing initiatives according to business priorities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and internal stakeholders
- Lead the start-up life and to the creation of a positive and dynamic work environment

The ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
- Master degree in business engineering, economics, or engineering with experience in Sales, Economics or Business Administration
- Experience in leading Business Development, for example from a Product Management, Sales or Technical role in the Automotive industry
- Open minded and innovation driven
- Team player with an entrepreneurial mindset, proactively taking ownership of projects
- Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze market trends and customer needs
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
- Strong project management skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel as needed

You will be based at AGC's Technovation centre in Gosselies where research and development, engineering and intellectual property activities are centralised under one roof with about 350 staff members.
