Partnering closely with the Plant Manager and the Management Team, you are the HR Manager of the Moustier plant (550+ employees) and lead all HR related topics from workforce planning, organization design and effectiveness, labor relations, talent acquisition and development to name a few.
- In collaboration with the Plant management define HR needs related to organizational development including recruitment (white collars, blue collars and temps), integration, training, career and talent development, internal mobility, retention, organization, proposal and implementation of short- and medium-term actions to meet these needs.
- Regular collaboration and exchanges with the Belgian shared service centers in charge of payroll management in order to inform them proactively of the needs of internal customers and to identify with them the best service solutions.
- Being a privileged interlocutor for the hierarchical line and the staff: presence within the production site, communication of information coming from the management, application of social legislation as well as sectoral and company agreements, active listening to problems related to personnel (administrative issues, problems ...).
- Maintaining and optimizing a regular and constructive relationship with the local social partners: availability in the field, listening and understanding of issues and concerns, anticipation of problems, local resolution of the latter, attention to compliance with rules and procedures, being member of the Local Works Council and Health & Safety Committee and leading the local union delegation meetings.
- Coaching and support of the different management lines in their day-to-day management of relations with staff and social partners; implementation and respect of company processes, HR rules and policies, understanding and communication of messages and decisions specific to the business, management of crisis situations and conflicts ...
- Follow-up of the social scoreboards, notably concerning the numbers and their evolution, indicators measures (headcount, absenteeism, etc.) and drawing up action plans in collaboration with the management.
- Promoting the culture of safety, performance and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Preparation of staffing plan and staffing budgets.
- Provide the expected support, meet the announced delays and bring the various HR projects to a successful outcome. You will be supported by a team of HR colleagues and specialists.
Are you the perfect match ?
- You have a University Degree (human resources, economics, law,...) or have reached this level through practice.
- Experience of at least 5 years in a similar position in an industrial and international environment is highly desired.
- Experience in unions negotiations.
- You are recognized for your listening, acting and communication skills.
- You are team player and can work autonomously.
- As a representative of the employer in the field, you impose yourself as a rigorous interlocutor, credible and respected thanks to your knowledge and personality.
- You have a clear interest in social issues, both in their legal and interpersonal aspects, and have a good command of the principles of Belgian social legislation.
- You are able to work in a challenging environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously while being close to the working environment.
- You are customer-oriented and actively collaborate in partnership with management and other members of the HR community in order to achieve the business objectives while respecting the company HR processes and policies.
- You speak French and English allowing you easy contacts within the group. An extra language command would be highly appreciated given the international nature of the company and in view of future potential career moves.
