This function is aimed at the Float production process where the extra-thin flat glass is produced in a fully continuous process. You are responsible for the organization of mechanical maintenance and this includes:
- You manage the requests and budgets for maintenance and improvements on production installations and in the planning and execution you take into account safety, quality, duration and costs
- The mechanical maintenance team that you manage, coach, and motivate consists of about 10 employees.
- You also continuously work on improvements and innovations to maintenance processes and installations in terms of mechanics, in collaboration with the other maintenance managers, production managers, and if necessary, with external partners.
- In addition, you are also responsible for the elaboration of safety regulations, work instructions and procedures and also take care of drawing up and managing technical documentation
Are you the perfect match ?
- You have experience in motivational leadership, enjoy working in a team towards a common goal, and know how to bring out the best in employees.
- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field and have experience in a similar position in an industrial environment.
- You have a hands-on mentality, view problems as a challenge, and have an analytical mindset
- You know how to set the right priorities independently, to organize the work optimally and are flexible, among other things to be part of the watchkeeping arrangements
- You are a team player with persuasiveness and very good communication skills in Dutch and English
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP and quickly understand software packages such as maintenance software.
