AGC is looking for an experienced Power BI Senior Analyst / Developer to join our growing Data & Analytics team.
In this role, you will be at the heart of our data-driven strategy, designing and developing robust BI solutions that empower business leaders to make informed decisions.
You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and data engineers to build a best-in-class analytics environment centered around Power BI.

Responsibilities
As a key member of our BI team, reporting to the BI Team Leader, you will:
• Design & Develop: Create compelling, interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI that provide an exceptional user experience.
• Translate & Visualize: Convert business needs into technical specifications, scalable data models, and insightful visualizations.
• Model & Optimize: Build and enhance high-performing data models using best practices like star schema.
• Code & Transform: Write advanced DAX queries and leverage Power Query for complex data transformations.
• Collaborate & Integrate: Work with data engineers to ensure seamless data integration, quality, and consistency from various sources.
• Govern & Secure: Implement and manage data governance, security models, and workspace administration within the Power BI service.
• Analyze & Improve: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of existing Power BI solutions.
• Mentor & Lead: Act as a subject matter expert, guiding team members and promoting BI best practices across the organization.

Profile
Must-Haves:
• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions with Power BI.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Expertise :
o Expert-level skill with Microsoft Power BI (Desktop and Service).
o Strong command of DAX and Power Query.
o Solid experience with SQL and relational databases.
o Deep understanding of data warehouse data modeling principles (ETL/ELT).
o Familiarity with project pipelines and GIT for deployment.
Nice-to-Haves:
• Experience with other BI tools like Tableau or Cognos.
• Experience with Snowflake.
• Familiarity with the wider Microsoft data ecosystem (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics).
• Experience with Python.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Soft Skills:
o Excellent problem-solving abilities and resilience to perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic, multi-project environment.
o Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, bridging the gap between business and IT.
o A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and visual design.
• Languages: Full proficiency in English.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.
