The group employs 14,000 people in Europe, with 14 float glass lines, 10 automotive glass processing centers, and more than 100 distribution-processing units, stretching all over Europe.

You will be based at our Technovation Centre, near Brussels (Belgium), where R&D, engineering, and IP activities are brought together under one roof, with a team of over 280 professionals.

You will join the Pulsaart (by AGC) team (www.pulsaart.com), developing and testing advanced connectivity solutions for the automotive, transportation, and aerospace sectors. As part of a dynamic team of RF engineers and technicians, you will act as the lead RF measurement expert, overseeing the operations of our state-of-the-art measurement service center, featuring large-scale anechoic chambers.

Your mission : As our RF measurement activity continues to grow, we are looking for an Antenna Measurement Expertto take a central role within our measurement team.

You will act as the technical lead for antenna measurement activities, ensuring the successful execution of customer projects from initial request to final delivery. This includes analyzing customer needs, assessing technical feasibility, defining measurement setups, and estimating workload and associated costs, in close collaboration with the account manager.

In parallel, you will own the operational planning of our two large anechoic chambers (50 MHz – 18 GHz), ensuring optimal utilization of resources while maintaining a sustainable workload for both the team and the equipment.

Beyond technical delivery, you will also play an active role in representing Pulsaart's measurement capabilities externally — engaging with new industries, identifying emerging market opportunities, and contributing to the growth of our customer base across new application domains (e.g., aerospace, defense, rail, IoT, and beyond), in collaboration with the business developer.

This role combines high-level technical expertise, customer interaction, operational leadership, market development and external representation, with a strong impact on both project delivery and the continuous development of our measurement capabilities.

Your responsibilities :

1/ Technical expert & customer interface

  • Act as the main technical interface with customers for antenna measurement campaigns
  • Analyze customer needs and translate them into measurement strategies
  • Assess technical feasibility (setups, constraints, risks)
  • Define and validate measurement configurations (near-field, far-field, setup, protocols, etc.)
  • Review and approve measurement results and reports before delivery

2/ Operational leadership

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the chambers and ensure optimal utilization
  • Plan and prioritize measurement campaigns
  • Manage and coordinate the operational team (tasks, workload, support, performance follow-up)
  • Ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery of all measurement activities

3/ Technical excellence & continuous improvement

  • Own the technical performance and reliability of the measurement facilities
  • Drive continuous improvement (methods, procedures, tools)
  • Monitor state-of-the-art and propose upgrades (equipment, processes, capabilities)
  • Supervise maintenance and calibration activities in collaboration with the metrology manager
  • Contribute to inter-laboratory comparisons and technical benchmarks

4/ Market development & external representation

  • Represent Pulsaart's RF measurement activities at industry events, conferences, and technical forums, in collaboration with the business developer
  • Identify and engage with potential new customers and partners in emerging market segments
  • Detect new application fields where Pulsaart's measurement capabilities can bring value
  • Collaborate with the account manager and business developer to convert technical leads into commercial opportunities
  • Contribute to the definition of Pulsaart's measurement service offering based on market intelligence and customer feedback

Are you the perfect match ?

  • Master’s or PhD in electromagnetics, RF, telecommunications, or related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in electromagnetics and antennas
  • Experience with antenna measurement techniques (anechoic chambers, near-field, far-field) is a strong asset
  • Familiarity with RF instrumentation and front-end systems would be an additional asset
  • Experience with simulation and data processing tools (MATLAB, Python)
  • Proven ability to manage technical projects and interact with customers
  • First experience in team coordination or leadership is a strong plus
  • Ability to represent a technical brand externally and communicate its value proposition to both specialist and non-specialist audiences
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Autonomous, rigorous, and solution-oriented
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus or willingness to learn
