This function is aimed at the Coater production process in which materials of a few nanometers thickness are sputtered onto the glass in a deep vacuum. In this department, production is carried out 7/7 and 24/24. You are responsible for the organization of curative, preventive and predictive maintenance, which includes:
- Organizing the requests from the department for maintenance and improvement work on production installations, drawing up the planning, following up the execution taking into account safety, quality, duration and costs
- Managing, coaching and motivating the maintenance department consisting of about 10 technicians, including weekend technicians.
- Organizing the work with external companies for maintenance, renewal and improvements of the production installations.
- Coordinating work together with the other departments within AGC, for example infrastructure works, etc. Monitoring and managing exchange and wear parts for production Follow-up of projects to improve production facilities.
- Creation and management of technical documentation
- Elaboration of safety regulations, work instructions and procedures in close consultation with the HSE service
- Reports to the Manager Technical Service
Are you the perfect match ?
- A master's degree in a technical field with some experience or a bachelor's degree in a technical field with solid experience in a similar position in an industrial environment
- Has experience in motivational leadership, likes to work in a team towards a common goal and knows how to get the best out of employees
- Has a hands-on mentality, sees problems as a challenge and is analytical
- Is also pragmatic and looks for a feasible solution
- Has an eye for safety, productivity and quality
- Likes to bring structure, makes overviews and analyses
- Can independently set the right priorities, knows how to organize the work optimally and is flexible regarding on-call arrangement, follow-up of weekend shift employees, etc.
- Is a team player with persuasiveness and good communication skills to work with managers and production workers; fluent in Dutch and English is required
