The Role / Job :

You will be responsible for the marketing related communications for the sales & marketing department of AGC Glass Europe

You will work in close collaboration with the Product Managers and Marketing responsibles, and you will be in charge of developing the best communication tools for products launches to support the sales force

You must understand the specifications of glass products and translate them into clear and attractive communication messages towards the target audience (architects, designers, processors, façade makers, window makers, etc.)

You will define and use the most appropriate communication channels, following up-to-date trends : offline (brochures, leaflets, advertisements, press releases, media relations, fairs, event...) and online (social media, mobile apps, videos, websites …)

You will manage the entire communication project from A-Z, namely editorial work; selection, briefing and follow up of communications agencies; translation process; printing process, writing of press releases

You will organize internal and external events for product launches and other projects.

You will liaise with the regions to roll out all communication campaigns within the defined deadlines

You will contribute to the continuous improvement of tools, methodologies and work processes within the area of communications.

You should also be able to set up a communication budget and monitor it closely.


Requirements :

  • Communications or journalistic educational background
  • Minimum of 5 years-experience in the field of communications (B2B)
  • Dynamic and attracted by the world of marketing, more particularly B2B marketing and communication
  • Creative mind and excellent writing skills (brochures, press releases, ..)
  • Proven project management skills, including multi-task management, is a must.
  • Flexible and stress resistant
  • Easy contact with others, going beyond language and cultural barriers
  • Team spirit, but also able to work independently
  • Very analytical and able to synthetize with an eye for details
  • Follow-up of marketing and communications trends to be able to develop most appropriate tools
  • Knowledge in managing events and organizing fairs is a plus
  • Good level of English and French. Dutch is a plus
  • Willing to travel occasionally
