The Role / Job :

  • application, verification and monitoring of the adopted occupational health and safety management system for the four plants of AGC Glass Poland - Warsaw, Silesia, Opatov, Gdansk 
  • responsibility for processing documentation 
  • ensuring the performance of ongoing control activities following internal rules and legal requirements and overseeing the implementation of preventive or remedial action taken at the site
  • action in the area of ​​accident and accident prevention, investigation of possible accidents and accidents, supervision of recording of required data on accidents and measures resulting from them 
  • determining directions and overseeing the implementation of hazard identification, risk assessment and taking appropriate preventive measures from these assessments  overseeing the compliance of used technologies in accordance with relevant technical standards 
  • cooperation on the protection of workers' health and public health authorities on the categorization of works 
  • assistance in internal health and safety at work audits, including close cooperation with EU-level corporate governance in the relevant division 
  • assisting persons with expertise in risk prevention, OSH persons and directors in individual plants; supervision of the activities of persons professionally qualified for risk prevention in individual plants I KPI monitoring, data processing and reporting to the company management



Requirements :

  • high school with a safety profile or high school education with a specialization or specialty in health and safety or postgraduate safety and health studies, knowledge of laws and regulations concerning health and safety of work including relevant standards (ISO 45001 in combination with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001)
  • active driver
  • OSH practice in an industrial enterprise for at least 5 years
  • work with computers (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP
  • very good knowledge of English 
  • communication skills (listening and persuasion in performance) managerial skills, art of negotiation, purposefulness and determination flexibility
