The AGC Glass Upstream Supply Chain is running an ambitious transformation initiative aiming at delivering a top class customer experience whilst optimizing cost and working capital.

We’re fully focusing on applying advanced digital technologies to unravel the complexity of the drivers of our current performance levels. This will be the basis to improve our performances to best in class.

The transformation team provides stewardship to successfully implement breakthrough changes within the different teams in a sustainable way.

 

You can be part of delivering that ambition by,

 

Developing, deploying and applying (digital) solutions to:

- identify Supply Chain performance improvement opportunities based on process & data analysis.

- make Supply Chain performance improvement initiatives sustainable, scalable and effective.

- propose & assess (strategic) investment scenarios.

Leading definition, development and implementation of improvement initiatives across the different functions and locations of AGC Glass Europe in support of the delivery of the Supply Chain strategy.
 

Supporting the definition & roll-out of the AGC Glass Europe digital transformation strategy within the Upstream Supply chain function and create & deploy the required capabilities within the Upstream Supply chain team.

 

You will be located in our HQ Louvain-la-Neuve or any other AGC main site.

  

Your main responsibilities:

 

ü  Participate and/or take the lead in Supply Chain projects and in deployment of the Supply Chain strategy within own area of responsibility, meeting the deliverables agreed with the stakeholders.

ü  Provide data & process analysis on SC costs, around SC performance topics, specific improvement projects, foot print, etc ..

ü  Issue timely and complete progress & performance updates of the initiatives you lead; provide adequate quantitative and qualitative feedback based on milestone plan and KPI follow-up & analysis. Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations.

ü  Develop and deploy expertise with regards to new technologies which contribute to our Supply Chain objectives.

Are you the perfect match ?

Your talents:

 

ü  Master level – preferably Economics or business school, Engineering, Operations management.

ü  Relevant work Experience: 0-3 years.

ü  Language knowledge: proficiency in English, any other language is a plus.

ü  Technical expertise: Power BI, AI, LLMs, Python, MS Office, Project mgt skills, Basics of Supply Chain

ü  Strong analytical skills.

ü  Excellent communication skills.

ü  Affinity for numbers and information systems.

ü  Ability to present conclusions in a clear and synthetic way.

ü  Eager to learn.

ü  Result oriented self-starter.

ü  Resilient and ability to make an impact.
