Your mission:
You’ll join the Automotive Sciences Solutions team – a dynamic group of around 30 engineers and technicians dedicated to :
- Supporting businesses by providing valuable insights and technical expertise
- Anticipating future market needs and new customer requirements
- Accelerating product and process development thanks to system development, digital, metrology and validation tools
Responsibilities will include :
- Guiding projects from the conceptual stage through to serial production and plant support while maintaining clear communication with both customers and partners
- Focusing on automotive products where expertise in 'Applied Optics & Opto-electronics' is crucial eg Wideye camera, Wideye Lidar, PHUD, HUD, functional roofs (lighting, PDLC etc)
Specific tasks will include :
- Developing models of optical systems using the most appropriate software and modeling strategy
- Conducting optical characterizations of different materials, including glass, to feed the simulation models with experimental data
- Preparing detailed documentation and R&D reports that outline and assess effectiveness of simulation output with clear technical and design recommendations
- Engaging in collaboration and networking activities
- Keeping up to date with the latest developments in optical technologies and simulation methodologies
Are you the perfect match ?
Your talents :
- Background in Optics (Master or PhD in Physics)
- Must have: expertise in optics, material optical properties, and scripting/coding
- Between 3 to 5 years of experience (not mandatory but preferably in the glass industry)
- Interest in simulation and modelling
- Able to elaborate, test, and propose new concepts autonomously
- Project management
- Effective communicate skills in multicultural environments
